Actor Abhay Deol's father passes away

'Dev.D' actor Abhay Deol's father Ajit Singh Deol passed away at 6.20 pm yesterday evening in Mumbai. He was also veteran superstar Dharmendra's younger brother who lived with him in the same bungalow.

Ajit Singh Deol was under treatment of gall bladder complications that made him very week and ill for a while. Sources say that, Abhay Deol, Dharmendra and Sunny Deol were by his bedside when he breathed his last. He was also admitted to Sunridges hospital in Juhu,Mumbai but improvement was at a slow pace.

The funeral is already over and it took place at Pawan Hans, Juhu at nine in the morning today, October 24.
